BASIS

Introduction

What is Basis?

Basis is the permissionless DeFi layer where AI agents and humans earn, create, and grow together. Basis is live in testing on BNB Chain and launching soon on Robinhood Chain. It is built on two proprietary token frameworks, Stable+ (up-only) and Floor+ (rising floor), and tackles cryptocurrency's core problem: volatility. Stable+ tokens can only increase in value through a mechanism called slippage retention: when someone buys or sells, the "lost value" from price impact stays in the liquidity pool rather than being extracted. This is distinct from fee injection: trading fees are distributed elsewhere (buyback, vault, creator, platform). The slippage itself stays in the pool. Floor+ tokens allow price discovery above a floor that only rises. The floor is collateral, not a promise: it is the liquidity that is actually there, and the contract will not trade below it. That is contract-enforced.

These frameworks enable four integrated products: a Token Launchpad for creators and agents to launch protected tokens, a Prediction Marketplace (Predict+) where each market has one multi-utility Predict+ token and a separate prediction pool for outcome shares, a Lending Facility lending 100% of a token's value (100% of the floor value for Floor+) with no liquidation on price, and a DEX with leverage: 37x on Stable+, available to all traders at launch and at any time, and up to 37x on Floor+.

Every action on Basis is programmable: AI agents can create tokens, trade, lend, predict, and manage capital autonomously. This is Agent-Native DeFi.

Why It Matters

The crypto industry loses users to two fundamental problems: volatility (preventing mainstream adoption for payments and value storage) and trust (pump-and-dump schemes, rug pulls, and insider dumps destroy confidence). Stablecoins solve volatility but sacrifice growth. Traditional tokens offer growth but expose holders to total loss.

Basis tackles both: tokens that hold steady and can grow. Stable+, Floor+ and Predict+ tokens have 100% elastic supply, minted on buy and burned on sell, with reserves held inside the token contract. Creators earn from transaction volume rather than token dumps, aligning their incentives with their communities.

Meanwhile, millions of AI agents are coming online and they all face the same problem: how do they earn, hold, and deploy capital autonomously? Most DeFi platforms are built for humans clicking buttons. Basis is built for both: every platform primitive works programmatically with zero human intervention.

Here is where the two come together: agents generate sustained, around-the-clock transaction volume. Human users benefit from agent-driven volume and liquidity. Agents benefit from human market participation. This two-way loop is what makes Basis different.

Market Opportunity

Basis addresses multiple large markets simultaneously:

Prediction Markets: Polymarket processed $3.2B in 2024 election volume alone, proving massive demand. Predict+ expands the addressable market by offering one token per market that can be held, traded, used as collateral, or used to predict outcomes through a separate prediction pool. Basis runs a modified pari-mutuel pool: all stakes merge into one pot and the winners split the whole pot, uncapped, unlike Polymarket's $1/share cap.

DeFi Lending: $100B+ total value locked industry-wide, but standard platforms offer only 50-80% LTV with constant liquidation risk. Basis lends 100% of a token's value (100% of the floor value for Floor+) with no liquidation on price. Loan costs run from 2.05% for a 10-day loan to 7.0% for a 1,000-day loan (2% plus 0.005% a day), prepaid upfront.

Creator Economy: $100B+ market plagued by extractive tokenomics. Platforms like Pump.fun offer only ~25% liquidity backing. On Basis the floor value is 100% backed by liquidity, and creators earn from trading volume: from the Robinhood Chain launch they set their own fee of 0 to 1% on top of the base fee, paid straight to them, and earn 20c of every $1 of loan fees on their token.

Agent Economy: The fastest-growing segment of the digital economy. As of June 2026, there are 244,538 registered ERC-8004 agents, of which 124,811 (51%) are on BNB Chain, the #1 chain for autonomous agents and where Basis runs its testing phase. Agents need permissionless infrastructure to earn, hold, and deploy capital. Basis is where agents go to grow: earn their first crypto, launch tokens, predict outcomes, build on-chain reputation. The launch deployment follows on Robinhood Chain. This is the Lobster Economy.

How It Works

All tokens created through Basis pair with STASIS, the platform's main Stable+ token (paired with USDB during testing, USDG at launch). When STASIS appreciates through ecosystem-wide trading activity, every paired token benefits proportionally. This creates a cascading value effect where platform growth lifts the entire ecosystem.

All tokens start at $1.00 with creator-configured starting liquidity ($100 to $10,000). Supply is 100% elastic: minted when purchased, burned when sold.

Fees from the Robinhood Chain launch: a base fee of 0.60% on every trade and prediction (0.54% with a referrer), plus a creator fee of 0 to 1% set by each token's creator. Each $1 of base fee splits:

DestinationNo referrerOne referrerTwo levels
BASIS buyback80c65c60c
Referrers (paid in cash)015c15c + 5c
Vault (stakers of the token's base)10c10c10c
Operating team10c10c10c

The base fee is capped at 2% in the contract. During testing on BNB Chain the dapp charges the earlier rates (0.5% on Stable+, 1.5% on other tokens). See Transaction Fees.

The BASIS Token

BASIS is the platform token. Most of every $1 of base fee buys BASIS on the open market: 40c to 50c of it is burned, 12.5c to 22.5c goes to BASIS stakers, and 7.5c is locked for the team. Supply is fixed at 1,000,000,000 and shrinks as it is burned.

Important distinction: BASIS is the platform token. STASIS is the platform's main Stable+ token and the base pair for factory tokens. They serve different roles.

No APY is projected, because it depends on volume nobody can honestly forecast.

Token Distribution

Total supply: 1,000,000,000 BASIS. Launch price $0.020 ($20M valuation).

Highlights

  1. Technical moat: Proprietary slippage retention mechanics; Stable+ price decreases are prevented by the contract.
  2. Proven market demand: $3.2B+ prediction market volume, $100B+ DeFi lending TVL.
  3. Buyback and burn: most of every $1 of base fee buys BASIS on the market, and most of that is burned.
  4. Aligned incentives: community allocation through the airdrop and staking rewards; creator revenue from volume, not token dumps.
  5. Network effects: STASIS pairing creates cascading value where ecosystem growth benefits all tokens.
  6. Agent-Native DeFi: every platform action is programmable, positioning Basis as infrastructure for the next wave of autonomous economic participants.
